Even if you are not passionate about computer gaming you should have definitely heard of Minecraft pocket edition. But even if you haven’t heard about it yet, take your time to research it a bit so that you can determine if it is ideal for you. Minecraft Pocket Edition has been reviewed on countless websites making it easy for anyone interested in knowing more about the game, to have access to all the important details that you need to know. So, there is no reason why you should not learn one or two aspects of the game.

Basically, Minecraft is an amazing computer game that was created by an independent developer, Markus Alexej Persson, nicknamed The Notch. This game puts players against some mysterious realms where they need to explore further, collect resources, design objects, and develop fortifications so as to continue surviving. If you’re venturing on to the advanced version, make sure plenty of practise time on lower levels has already taken place!

The first version Pocket Edition of Minecraft was released in 2009, becomming an immediate subversive hit that gathered a loyal cult following. A lot of gamers could not bear to not have the game, and went to any lengths to get it.

This popularity can largely be attributed to the game’s simple and charming visuals, and addictively easily reachable game play. However, if you are an IOS player, this version does not provide the same exciting experience as its computer-bound counterpart. Another good thing about mine craft pocket edition is that it has a couple of interesting 3D graphics that make it simple and exciting to play. However, there is a school of thought amongst some gamers who scorn Minecraft as they believe it doesn’t have enough adventure elements and is too simple. Its easy to forget though, sometimes simplicity is golden.

The long awaited release of Diablo 3 which was due to go online last night, left gamers in angry tear-strewn disappointment as the servers supporting the game went into overload.

Failing at the critical moment of global gaming demand, saucer-eyed gamers worldwide were left staring at “error37″, not the beloved dingy, dungeon adventure many wished to encounter and conquer. #Error37 soon become a Twitter trend, with one Twitterer summing up the game in a bitter sweet manner – “Man, Diablo 3 is super hard. I’ve been playing for 30 minutes and haven’t even defeated the login screen”.

So how did this happen and cause so many tears to be shed last night? Well, in theory, it shouldn’t have happened. In April, the games developer Blizzard stress tested all the servers with open data, they should have fixed any problems then, right? According to reports, they did get a sprinkling of Error 37 messages then too.

Yet maybe the problem lies in the fact that even in single player, offline mode, each player has to log in to Blizzards servers in order to enter the game, in a piracy-combat measure. This just create ones giant gaming funnel, stuffed with impatient gamers all trying frantically to rip each others hair out in a mission to get at Diablo 3 first. Naturally, a giant funnel stuffed with gamers is gonna jam up.

Blizzard apparently did warn gamers that their could be delays in the first three days of Diablo 3′s launch due to high demand, but maybe they underestimated the popularity of the game. Blizzard have since released the following statement however – “Due to high concurrency the login servers are currently at full capacity. This may cause delays in the login process, account pages and web services. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience while this is being resolved.”

They expect within about 48 hours to sort this out. Overall, who knows how good Diablo 3 is yet? This whole virtual scuffle does however highlight the cold, hard fact that there are online authenticity issues, which we have not yet fixed.

The world assumed it had seen the last of Max Payne – the revenge driven ex-cop who shrugged off bullet wounds by taking so many pain pills he could bend time. 2004’s Max Payne 2 saw an ambitious attempt attempt at a ‘Film Noir Love Story’ fall flat, and with developer Remedy Entertainment moving onto Alan Wake, the world thought it’d seen the last of Max. That was, uuntil the he was resurrected by Rockstar and passed to Rockstar Vancouver after their hit Red Dead Revolution.

“Its F***ing brilliant,” explained Matias Myllrinne in an interview with GamesIndustry.biz. “I’ve had a chance to play it and we’ve worked with Rockstar a little bit–obviously, they’re doing the heavy lifting. They’re doing the development. But they wanted our input on a couple of occasions and we’ve had loads of our people, our core group, who worked on the first two games, give input and it’s awesome.”

A relief, surely, for anyone who were concerned that the series may of lost its way when the trademark Nightime Noir New York and leather jacket were apparently swapped for a wifebeater and sunny Brazil .

“To be honest, we didn’t change anything design wise,” he said. “Our plans were already pretty tight and we knew that we would give people plenty of what they were asking for. We did, however, hurry up our contract discussions with James McCaffrey (The original voice of Max Payne), as that wasn’t quite finalized at that point, which is why we kept that under wraps.”

Social networks instigated a match in Australia recently. The targeted social network YuuZoo is assisting bands by giving them the chance to perform with Jon Bon Jovi, giving amateur bands a chance to rock into the music fiesta taking place on the 19-20th May. The multitude of responses has pushed hundreds of bands to register to perform with the rock star. The top 5 bands will be selected, dependent on their live performances, which will be recorded and published on YuuZoo.

Like Facebook where they have a symbol of thumbs up for likes, YuuZoo has two red thumbs. Boasting over 2million users from 164 countries, so far the the online battle of the leading bands  has over 900 supporters.

Fortunately for top three bands that do not make to the jersey, each will have their own fan page which will be on YuuZoo. This will be their global promoter which will assist with managing the artists.

However YuuZoo are not head-over-heels to replace Facebook as rumor has it. Aiming to continue developing the complimentary social network, they wish to promote products, bands, artists and festivals which are all relevant to music. Unlike many other social network where people have no say especially celebrities, YuuZoo has different perspective. It has a complete control over advertising and assist greatly in selling tickets as well as albums.

As a result to protect and maintain their brand they have combined their followers across their social network. They have had to moderate their channels by announcing their identifiable leaders’ which includes Jon Bon Jovi. However fans have to wait and see which band wins to rock beside Jon Bon Jovi.

The art and entertainment sector has been improving on daily basis, with new things, advancements and technology hitting the market. The film industry has experienced a lot of advancements and great productions are being released every day. One filmmaker who’s been in the news recently is German-born Wim Wenders. He is the filmmaker behind the new dazzling 3D dance film The Pina.  This dance film is about to open in Seattle and expected to receive great viewing all over the world.

Wim Wenders once attended a dance performance in Venice, after he was swayed by his girlfriend to do so as initially he was reluctant to attend the fascinating evening. Indeed, it was a great evenings work by the late great Pina Bausch, an iconic contemporary dance and performance art choreographer. Wenders afterwards declared it was an evening that changed his life.

The Pina is a dance film and a tribute to Wenders friend Bausch, who tragically died aged 68 due to cancer. This occurred part way through making the film, leading Wenders to cancel the whole project. The film makes use of 3D technology which Wenders believes is necessary for a great production.

Luckily – for the memory of Pina Bausch and for the film – Wenders unexpectedly saw the dancers of Tanztheater Wuppertal rehearsing, and decided that the film must be finished and they would do this alone, and not culminate the project. Although this was a big challenge for Wenders to complete this without Bausch as everything they had planned vanished with Bauschs death, he managed to pull it together and complete the project.

The final film consists of four dances - Vollmond, Kontakhof, Café Muller and Le Sacre du Printemps.
